A Great Hotel and Wedding Venue

Ringwood Hall Hotel, Brimington near Chesterfield, Derbyshire and not far from Sheffield is one of my top recommended venues, and to say I have been doing Weddings for 20 years then that must say something.

The staff are great well organised, and seem very pleasant even when stressed with lots happening. They can have three weddings on a day but it is all carefully organised to negotiate the grounds and hotel for photographs, drinks etc. the place just works. Rona who is in charge of the Wedding organisation works with her staff to get it running like clockwork.

Photographs:-  Well the place just seems to have it for me. I go to places all around the country that have fantastic view, but you can just take a lot of different photographs in a very short time. I have won many awards from photographs I have taken at Ringwood Hall, and one that was runner up to UK Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2003. You have probably seen it it was on the front of there brochure for many years with the bride spinning!

You can have a big wedding with over 100 guests or a very small one with just a handful of people it works whatever. You can now get married outdoors in the Hotel`s unique Garden Pavilion, licensed for civil ceremonies set in there beautiful grounds, which you can book on Sunday to Thursday I think! and have a fantastic American style wedding, providing the weather holds out that is. They always have a contingisy plan just in case it rains, and for me its worth having a shot.

Food always looks and tastes good when I have eaten there, and I have never heard a complaint.

If you have a Wedding soon and you live in easy travelling distance, this would be the venue for me! I think you need to book early they are always busy.

Its gets better each year we use to hold meetings at the hotel over 15 years ago, its certainly come along way since those days.
